Leader – Adrian Garratt

Adrian Garratt grew up in Wiltshire where he studied violin with Patricia Calnan and Adrian Eales. He led the county youth orchestra and continued his orchestral training when he moved to London to study. In 1996 Adrian combined music with his interest in comedy as he started street performing at Covent Garden. Six yearslater he formed the comedy string trio Pluck with whom he co-devised three completely original theatre shows, working with directors includingToby Sedgwick (Warhorse) and Cal McCrystal (One Man Two Guvnors).These toured internationally, with performances in Edinburgh, Purcell Room, Southbank Centre, Aldeburgh Festival, Italy, Finland, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, the US, Singapore and Taiwan. The last few years have seen his West End debut in Swallows and Amazons and The Borrowers at Northern Stage. He tours his solo show, as manic idiot violinist ‘Sid Bowfin’ (sidbowfin.com), and continues his long relationship with the Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Arts scheme. www.sidbowfin.com
